1. Area of application
young and brave GmbH is a corporation with a registered office in Basel and is registered under the register number CH-020.4.060.774-8. young and brave GmbH runs an online merchandise trade at www.youngandbrave.ch. The business relationship between young and brave GmbH and the purchaser (hereinafter referred to as “the customer”) shall exclusively be subject to the general terms and conditions of business (GTC), as well as to the version applicable at the time of placing the order. Any adaptation of the General Terms and Conditions by the Purchaser shall not be recognized by young and brave GmbH.

3. Offer and conclusion of the contract
The representations of the products in the online shop (www.youngandbrave.ch) represent no legally binding offer, but a request for the order.
By sending the completed order process (purchase button), the customer enters into a binding purchase agreement with young and brave GmbH regarding the products/services contained in the shopping basket. This legal purchase contract is confirmed by a confirmation of purchase (email) by young and brave GmbH.
The products offered at www.youngandbrave.ch are generally available. Should it not be possible to deliver one or more articles due to a technical problem with our website or an inventory deviation, we inform the customer as soon as possible about this fact and propose the customer a replacement product. Alternatively, the amount will be refunded.
4. Refund policy
A return of the articles is only possible with the prior written agreement (e-mail) under firstname.lastname@example.org within a 14-day period without giving any reasons (but would be desirable). The item has to be returned by the buyer by means of a stamped return within the above-mentioned period to young and brave GmbH, Aeschenvorstadt 71 4051 Basel.
A refund of the purchase price (without delivery costs) will only be made for undamaged/unused items. The purchase price will be refunded upon receipt of the returned goods. The customer shall be notified in writing. The client assumes the costs of the return. The return does not include the following items: swimwear and teething rings.
Complaints due to material defects must be made immediately upon receipt of the goods with the help of the photo-identification under email@example.com. The reason for the defect/damage must be explained in a comprehensible manner. Material defects resulting from improper handling/handling are excluded from reimbursement claims and replacement delivery. young and brave GmbH will process the damage and inform the buyer in writing (e-mail) of the following possibilities:
– post-processing of the objected article,
– replacement delivery,
– refund of the purchase price.
5. Prices and shipping charges
The prices listed under youngandbrave.ch are in Swiss francs plus vat, customs, and shipping costs. The price of the goods at the time of receipt of the order with young and brave GmbH, which is shown on the invoice, is binding for the invoice amount. young and brave GmbH reserves the right to make mistakes and alterations.
We ship from Germany. The shipping costs are calculated automatically and displayed in the shopping cart. They are 12 Swiss Francs for Switzerland and Liechtenstein. (For EU please check youngandbrave.de, other countries on request)
You will have to pay the Swiss value-added tax to the freight forwarder upon receipt of the goods, along with the customs clearance costs and any customs duties. Swiss VAT is calculated based on the taxable value of the goods. The taxable value of goods is made up of the cost of the goods, shipping costs, customs clearance costs, and customs duties.
Customs clearance costs:
For the administrative work involved in customs clearance, the customer has to pay the freight forwarder customs clearance costs. We send our goods using SecoPorto.
SecoPorto customs clearance costs: The base price is 13.50 CHF (shipping from Germany) plus 3% of the value of the goods. Additional costs may arise in connection with customs clearance (e.g. surcharge for opening the shipment). Depending on the product and the order quantity, customs duties may apply when shipping to Switzerland. For more information, please refer to the XTARES computer of the Federal Customs Administration http://xtares.admin.ch.
Delivery is normally made within 3 business days after receipt of payment under the delivery address indicated by the buyer.
Payment is made via prepayment, credit card, PayPal, TWINT, or young and brave voucher.
After the order has been placed at www.youngandbrave.ch, young and brave GmbH sends a confirmation mail with the invoice (including the bank details). The buyer transfers the invoice amount in advance to the specified bank account.
The payment is made by charging the credit card of the customer. You enter your credit card data during the ordering process through a secure connection in our online shop and we transfer your data encrypted directly to our payment provider. For security reasons, we do not store your credit card data. Your credit card will not be charged until the order has been completed. Afterward we dispatch the goods in due course.
The purchase of a voucher from young and brave can be made in the webshop at www.youngandbrave.ch. After successful payment, young and brave will issue a voucher in the amount of the payment received in CHF. The voucher is not personalized. The voucher is redeemed by entering a specific code in the input field of the order form. A voucher can be redeemed exclusively to its stated CHF amount. The redemption can only take place in the full coupon amount. Cash payment is excluded.
8. Retention of title
The goods remain the full property of ‘young and brave GmbH’ until full payment.
9. Court of Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions, which are concluded pursuant to these General Terms and Conditions, are subject to Swiss law and law. Court of Zurich.
10. Final provisions
Should any provision of these General Terms and Conditions prove to be invalid or invalid, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.
